Journal History

Satwika: Kajian Ilmu Budaya dan Perubahan Sosial is published by the Institute for Culture, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Satwika was first published in April 2017. Since December 23, 2020, Satwika has been ACCREDITED with grade "Sinta 3" by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (RistekDikti) of The Republic of Indonesia as an achievement for the peer-reviewed journal which has excellent quality in management and publication. Since then we have continued to improve the quality of management and publications by inviting several editors and external reviewers from various universities in Indonesia. In May 2020, the journal was hacked. A number of documents were lost, especially in the Vol. 6 No 1, April 2022. However, we have made repairs to the missing documents.
