Resepsi Anggota Ikatan Keluarga Banyuwangi Malang Pada Tari Gandrung sebagai Identitas Masyarakat Banyuwangi

Meskipun Tari Gandrung telah secara resmi menjadi ikon Kabupaten Banyuwangi sejak tahun 2000an, namun keberadaannya masih menuai pro dan kontra. Permasalahan ini muncul akibat adanya stigma negatif yang berkembang selama ini, bahwa tari Gandrung adalah tarian erotis untuk menggoda kaum laki-laki dan para penarinya. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bagaimana resepsi ikatan keluarga banyuwangi (IKAWANGI) Malang pada tari gandrung. Sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa banyuwangi yang tergabung dalam IKAWANGI dan sekaligus menjadi penari gandrung, selain itu sumberdata juga didapatkan dari Ketua IKAWANGI. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan Observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan teori resepsi dari stuart Hall. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan spirit yang terkandung dalam tari gandrung merupakan karakter dan identitas dari masyarakat Using Banyuwangi. Stigma negatif yang melekat dalam diri penari gandrung tak dipungkiri masih ada, namun seiring perubahan jaman stigma tersebut perlahan-lahan mulai menghilang.
Even though the Gandrung Dance has officially become an icon of Banyuwangi Regency since the 2000s, its existence still reaps pros and cons. This problem arises due to the negative stigma that has developed so far, that Gandrung dance is an erotic dance to seduce men and their dancers. This study reveals how the Malang Banyuwangi family bond (IKAWANGI) reception is in the gandrung dance. The data source in this study was Banyuwangi students who were members of IKAWANGI and at the same time became passionate dancers, besides that the data source was also obtained from the Chairperson of IKAWANGI. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using reception theory from Stuart Hall. The results of the study show that the spirit contained in the gandrung dance is the character and identity of the Using Banyuwangi people. It is undeniable that the negative stigma attached to the gandrung dancer still exists, but as times change, this stigma slowly begins to disappear.
