Pengaruh Aktualisasi Konsep Diri dalam Self-Disclosure Gen Z terhadap Second Account pada Aplikasi Instagram di Kota Medan

Media sosial adalah platform yang digunakan orang untuk berbagi gambar, berita, informasi, dan konten lainnya, satu sama lain dan untuk meningkatkan hubungan sosial mereka. Masyarakat juga kerap memanfaatkan media sosial untuk menyampaikan perasaan tertentu yang mereka alami. Dengan begitu tujuan penelitian ada untuk mengetahui Aktualisasi konsep diri Second Account pada Aplikasi Instagram terhadap Self-Disclouser Gen Z di Kota Medan. Dalam penelitian ini jenis metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian Kuantitatif. penelitian ini menjelaskan hubungan mempengaruhi dan dipengaruhi dari variabel-variabel yang akan diteliti yakni Aktualisasi konsep diri second account (variabel independen) dan Self-Disclouser (variabel dependen). Penelitian ini berfokus pada Gen Z di Kota Medan. Data penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yakni data yang diperoleh secara langsung, untuk memperoleh pengambilan data menggunakan instrumen penelitian angket/kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukaan bahwa uji korelasi antara aktualisasi konsep diri akun kedua dengan pengungkapan diri pada Gen Z menunjukkan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,563 dan nilai signifikan sebesar 0,000. Tingkat hubungan yang sedang ditunjukkan oleh koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,563. Dalam hal ini dapat diketahui bahwa masyarakat kota Medan memanfaatkan media sosial untuk menyampaikan perasaan tertentu yang mereka alami. Ini adalah jenis keterbukaan diri (Self-Disclouser) di mana seseorang dengan sengaja menyampaikan pengalaman dan perasaannya secara verbal.
Social media is a platform that people use to share images, news, information and other content, with each other and to enhance their social relationships. People also often use social media to convey certain feelings they experience. That way the purpose of the research is to find out the Actualization of the Second Account self-concept on the Instagram Application for Gen Z Self-Disclosers in Medan City. In this study, the type of method used is Quantitative research method. this research explains the relationship of influencing and being influenced by the variables to be studied, namely the Actualization of the second account self-concept (independent variable) and Self-Disclouser (dependent variable). This research focuses on Gen Z in Medan City. This research data uses primary data, namely data obtained directly, to obtain data collection using a questionnaire research instrument. The results showed that the correlation test between the actualization of the second account self-concept and self-disclosure in Gen Z showed a correlation coefficient of 0.563 and a significant value of 0.000. A moderate level of relationship is indicated by a correlation coefficient of 0.563. In this case, it can be seen that the people of Medan city utilize social media to convey certain feelings that they experience. This is a type of self-disclosure where a person intentionally conveys their experiences and feelings verbally.
