Interaksi Simbolik dalam Penyajian Musik Iringan Tari Rampak Rebana di Sanggar Andari Pontianak

Keberhasilan sebuah penyajian kesenian tradisional merupakan hasil dari proses interaksi antar para pemain, baik melalui verbal maupun melalui simbol. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana proses interaksi simbolik antara penari dan pemusik dalam sebuah penyajian musik iringan Tari Rampak Rebana di Sanggar Andari Pontianak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk menyajikan segala proses interaksi yang terjalin dari proses awal garapan, latihan, hingga penyajian karya. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan sosiokultur untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana proses interaksi simbolik terwujud berdasarkan kebiasaan-kebiasaan yang terjadi di lingkungan masyarakat. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data mengguanakan triangulasi sumber, yakni wawancara terhadap pemilik sanggar, komposer musik penari. Teknik analisis data melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bentuk penyajian musik iringan Tari Rampak Rebana menjadi upaya pewarisan dalam melestarikan budaya Melayu. Proses ini melalui kegiatan penyampaian ide garapan dari komposer kepada para pemusik, proses latihan antara pemusik dan penari hingga sampai kepada penyajian musik iringan Tari Rampak Rebana. Selain itu, penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa interaksi simbolik tidak serta merta terjadi pada suatu komunitas sanggar, melainkan tumbuh berdasarkan penerimaan ide, penyamaan persepsi dan adaptasi yang berlangsung secara kontinu sehingga menjadi budaya yang perlu dilestarikan.
The success of a traditional art presentation is the result of the process of interaction between the players, both verbally and through symbols. The purpose of this study is to reveal how the process of symbolic interaction between dancers and musicians in a musical presentation accompaniment to Rampak Rebana Dance at Sanggar Andari Pontianak. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods to present all interaction processes that are established from the initial process of cultivation, exercise, to the presentation of works. The research approach uses a sociocultural approach to reveal how the process of symbolic interaction is realized based on habits that occur in the community. Data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Data validity using source triangulation, which is an interview with the owner of the studio, the composer of dancer music. Data analysis techniques through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study show that the form of presenting accompaniment music of Rampak Rebana Dance is an inheritance effort in preserving Malay culture. This process is through the activity of conveying ideas made by the composer to the musicians, the process of rehearsal between musicians and dancers to the presentation of music accompaniment to the Rampak Rebana Dance. In addition, this study proves that symbolic interaction does not necessarily occur in a studio community, but grows based on the acceptance of ideas, equalization of perceptions and adaptation that takes place continuously so that it becomes a culture that needs to be preserved.
