Indonesia Law Reform Journal

Indonesia Law Reform Journal (ILREJ) is an open-access journal published by the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM Malang) and managed by the Faculty of Law, University of Muhammadiyah Malang. ILREJ accepts researcher contributions, including student research, in the form of scientific articles from around the world. These articles will be published after undergoing the manuscript selection mechanism, peer review, and plagiarism checking not exceeding 20% ​​(twenty percent). Articles submitted can be in literature studies and fieldwork (field studies).

This journal deals with various topics in multidisciplinary law studies on legal reform in the Global South, written by researchers, and practitioners.

ILREJ is published thrice yearly (March, July, and November). ILREJ accepts submissions of manuscripts written only in English. ILREJ is indexed by DOAJ and SINTA 3 by the Ministry of Higher Education of Indonesia.

TEMPLATE CHANGE
To improve the quality of articles published by Indonesia Law Reform Journal, our editorial team made specific template changes to the following:
1. There is an additional journey of the article publishing process
2. Changes in the appearance of the initial section (abstract)
3. The introduction section concretely outlines the steps of preparation
4. The type of citation is changed to American Psychological Association 7th Edition, and
5. Spacing was changed to 1.5.
These changes take effect starting with Volume 5 Issue 1, March 2025.
