Jurnal Dedikasi Hukum

Jurnal Dedikasi Hukum, also known as the Journal of Legal Engagement and Social Justice, is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal published by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang, Indonesia. The journal is dedicated to disseminating high-quality scholarly works focusing on community legal service, legal empowerment, and applied socio-legal research that address real-world legal challenges and promote social justice through community engagement.

The journal provides an international platform for academics, researchers, legal practitioners, and community activists to publish original articles derived from diverse community-oriented legal activities, including but not limited to:

• Community-Based Legal Research
• Service Learning and Legal Advocacy
• Community Development and Empowerment
• Legal Aid and Community Assistance
• Applied Legal Models and Socio-Legal Innovation

Additionally, the journal welcomes manuscripts that integrate legal theory with practical applications, covering topics such as:

• Legal empowerment of marginalized groups
• Village law and customary dispute resolution
• Public legal education and outreach
• Clinical legal education-based activities
• Human rights promotion in local communities
• Digital transformation in community legal services
• Applied research on legal awareness and behavior

All submissions undergo rigorous editorial screening, plagiarism detection (maximum similarity index of 20%), and a double-blind peer review by qualified reviewers.

Publication Frequency: The journal is published triannually, in April, August, and December.

Languages: Manuscripts are accepted in both English and Bahasa Indonesia; however, English submissions are preferred to support wider international reach and enhance visibility.
