Screening for Plagiarism

Journal of Innovation in Business and Economics recognizes that plagiarism is not acceptable and therefore establishes the following policy stating specific actions (penalties) when plagiarism is identified.

Journal of Innovation in Business and Economics uses Turnitin as a tool to detect plagiarism with exclude matches not more than 2% and 10% maximum of similarity index.

Definition:
Plagiarism involves the "use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one's original work."
