  • Ethical Clearance Requirement for Manuscript Submission

    Starting from Volume 15 Issue 1, all manuscripts submitted for publication are required to include ethical clearance obtained from an appropriate institutional ethics committee.

    Authors must ensure that research involving human participants, personal data, or sensitive information has received ethical approval from a recognized institutional review board or ethics committee prior to submission. The ethical clearance document should be attached as a supplementary file during the manuscript submission process.

    This requirement is implemented to ensure that all published research adheres to recognized ethical standards in research and publication.

    We kindly ask all prospective authors to prepare the necessary documentation before submitting their manuscripts.

  • Temporary Suspension of New User Registration on JIPT OJS

    Dear Authors,

    Due to a recent security issue on our system, the user registration feature in the Online Journal System (OJS) of Jurnal Ilmiah Psikologi Terapan (JIPT) is currently disabled. 

    Authors who wish to create an account and submit a manuscript can now register through the following link: https://reg-ejournal.umm.ac.id/. Please fill out the registration form, and our editorial team will create your account and send you the login credentials to access the OJS.

  • The latest update to the JIPT writing template

    We want to inform you about the latest update to the JIPT writing template. The changes aim to improve formatting, citation style, and include a new section on ethical considerations.

    Please download the updated template for your future submissions. From 21/11/2023, only manuscripts prepared using the updated template will be considered.

  • Article Processing Charge

    Dear Authors

    We hereby announce that starting in January 2024 (Vol. 13, No. 1), Jurnal Ilmiah Psikologi Terapan will apply an Author Fee to support the cost of the editorial process. The article processing charge is IDR 750.000 (50 USD), which only needs to be paid when the article has been accepted. The fee covers DOI registration for each paper.
    However, The Article Publication Fee will not apply for a paper with authors from two different countries or more.

  • Dear readers and future authors

    Starting from the August issue of 2022, Jurnal Ilmiah Psikologi Terapan will only be publishing papers in English. However, we will continue accepting submissions in Bahasa Indonesia and manuscripts declared accepted by the editor at the final stage must be translated into English. These manuscripts must also be examined by a partner agency that we appoint.

    We are happy to inform Jurnal Ilmiah Psikologi Terapan have a few policy changes have been implemented in the publication process:

    1. The use of LaTex formatting software started in August  Vol. 9 No. 2 (2021). The use of LaTex is intended to enhance the readability of the articles published in the journal.

    2. Our editorial team is committed to improving publishing quality and, therefore, will be more selective regarding manuscripts submitted to the system.
