BURNOUT DITINJAU DARI BIG FIVE FACTORS PERSONALITY PADA KARYAWAN KANTOR POS PUSAT MALANG

Burnout merupakan "epidemi" yang melanda dunia kerja. Burnout adalah istilah yang menggambarkan kondisi emosional seseorang yang merasa lelah dan jenuh secara mental, emosional dan fisik sebagai akibat tuntutan pekerjaan yang meningkat. Karakteristik kepribadian merupakan salah satu penyebab terjadinya Burnout. Pada penelitian ini karakteristik kepribadian yang digunakan adalah Big Five Factors Personality. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui perbedaan Burnout ditinjau dari Big Five Factors Personality pada karyawan Kantor Pos Pusat Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode non-tes yaitu skala Burnout (Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey) dan skala Big Five Factors Personality (Big Five Inventory). Pengukuran dilakukan terhadap 100 subjek pada karyawan Kantor Pos Pusat Malang. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis statistik anova one way. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan Burnout yang signifikan (F=2,929; Sig=0,025<0,05) ditinjau dari Big Five Factors Personality pada karyawan Kantor Pos Pusat Malang dengan faktor kepribadian neuroticism memiliki mean Burnout paling tinggi (32,36) dan agreeableness yang memiliki mean Burnout paling rendah (26,07).
