KECENDERUNGAN PERILAKU CYBERBULLYING DITINJAU DARI TIPE KEPRIBADIAN EKSTROVERT DAN INTROVERT

Abstract

Cyberbullying saat ini menjadi sebuah topik yang sedang marak dibicarakan. Cyberbullying merupakan suatu perilaku agresi yang mengacu pada perilaku bullying yang dilakukan oleh seseorang melalui sosial media seperti web, sms, jejaring sosial, chat room, dan lain-lain. Banyak faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi seseorang dalam melakukan cyberbullying, salah satunya adalah tipe kepribadian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan kecenderungan perilaku cyberbullying jika ditinjau dari tipe kepribadian ekstrovert dan introvert. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kausal-komparatif dengan menggunakan alat tes kepribadian EPI-A dan skala perilaku cyberbullying. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah stratified random sampling dan didapatkan 165 siswa SMAN 1 Purwosari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan kecenderungan perilaku cyberbullying ditinjau dari tipe kepribadian ( t=0,019, p=0,05).

 Cyber bullying is becoming an emerging topic discussed. Cyber bullying is an aggression behavior which refers to bullying behavior by a person through social media such as web, messaging, social networking, chat rooms, etc. Many factors that can influence a person in making cyber bullying, one of which is a personality type. The purpose of this study was to determine  differences in behavioral tendencies cyber bullying when viewed from extraversion and introversion personality type. This research used a causal-comparative using EPI-A and cyber bullying behaviors scale. The sampling technique used is stratified random sampling and obtained 165 students of public senior high school of Purwosari. The results showed that there were differences in behavioral tendencies in terms of personality types of cyberbullying (t = 0.019, p = 0.05).
