MASA KERJA DENGAN JOB ENGAGEMENT PADA KARYAWAN

Setiap karyawan memiliki masa kerja yang berbeda-beda. Dari masa kerja tersebut dapat terlihat seberapa besar seorang karyawan memiliki job engagement pada saat bekerja. Seorang karyawan yang memiliki job engagement dapat dilihat dari beberapa faktor seperti: faham terhadap visi dan misi perusahaan, selalu memiliki ide-ide baru, fokus dalam bekerja serta selalu ingin memberikan yang terbaik untuk perusahaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan masa kerja dengan job engagement pada karyawan. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 399 karyawan PT. Aneka Tambang Pomalaa yang ada di Kabupaten Kolaka, Sulawesi Tenggara. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala UWES (Utrechtn Work Engagement Scale).Untuk analisis data penelitian menggunakan Korelasi Product Moment yang dibantu dengan program SPSS for windows. Hasilnya dapat diketahui bahwa koefisien korelasi antara masa kerja dengan job engagement adalah 0,653. Uji signifikansi menunjukkan hasil 0,000 (p<0,01) berarti bahwa korelasi kedua variabel sangat signifikan.

Every employer has different work time period. It will determine and will show how good an employer job engagement in their work. The one that owned a job engagement can be seen in some factors such as comprehending vision and mission of the company, having some new brilliant ideas, focusing on work and always giving the best to the company. The aim of this research is to find the answer about “Is there any correlation between tenure and job engagement?” this research done to 399 employers of PT. Aneka Tambang Pomalaa which located in Kolaka, Sulawesi Tenggara. Collecting data done by using UWES (Utrechtn Work Engagement Scale). The result analysis of the research counted by using Product Moment Correlation which supported by SPPS program for windows.The coefficient of the result between the two variables is 0,065 which significance importance results 0,000 (p<0,01). It means that there is a significant correlation between tenure and job engagement.
