Abstract

Konflik kerap terjadi antara oknum-oknum dari institusi negara seperti TNI dengan POLRI yang seharusnya menjadi alat ketahanan negara, pelindung dan pengayom masyarakat. Konflik disebabkan banyak faktor, salah satunya kuatnya identitas sosial dan prasangka antara kedua pihak. Identitas sosial yang tinggi terhadap masing-masing kesatuan membuat kecenderungan untuk memandang negatif kelompok lain semakin besar. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan positif antara identitas sosial dengan prasangka pada prajurit TNI AD di Pusdikbekang. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 70 prajurit dengan teknik random sampling. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model analisis korelasi Pearson. Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa hipotesis diterima, angka korelasi sebesar rxy = 0.538 dengan Pvalue = 0.000 (Pvalue ≤0,05), yang berarti terdapat hubungan positif antara identitas sosial dan prasangka. Semakin tinggi tingkat identitas sosial maka kecenderungan prasangka prajurit TNI AD Pusdikbekang terhadap anggota kepolisian semakin tinggi.
