PENGEMBANGAN ALAT UKUR KEMATANGAN KARIR SISWA SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya data yang menunjukkan rendahnya kematangan karier siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Penyebabnya karena kebutuhan siswa terhadap bimbingan karier tidak selaras, sebab layanan tidak didasari oleh data akurat kematangan karier. Data tersebut tidak tersedia karena alat ukur yang teruji untuk mengungkap kematangan karier siswa SMA belum ada. Tujuan penelitian ini mengembangkan alat ukur kematangan karier siswa SMA yang teruji. Penelitian ini penelitian pengembangan dengan prosedur mencakup: penetapan sistem penyekoran, uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, pembuatan norma dan penyusunan manual. Objek penelitian ini dinamai Skala Kematangan Karier (SKK). Sampel adalah siswa kelas XI dari SMA berstatus negeri dan swasta yang berlokasi di perkotaan, transisi, dan pedesaan, dengan total sampel 461 siswa. Penelitian menghasilkan SKK dua format, yakni format 1 dan format 2. Format 1 terdiri dari 48 butir multiple-choice dengan indeks reliabilitas tinggi (0.766) pada SEM sebesar 3.109, dan 4 butir soal esei dengan indeks reliabilitas sedang (0.684) pada SEM sebesar 1.186. Kemudian format 2 terdiri dari 38 butir soal berbentuk skala penilaian dengan lima pilihan yang memiliki indeks reliabilitas tinggi (0.807) pada SEM sebesar 7.969. SKK tersebut didampingi oleh seperangkat manual yang diperuntukkan bagi pengguna.

This research is motivated by the amount of data that show low career maturity of high school students. The reason was the career guidance are not aligned with the needs of students, it because the service is not based on accurate data of career maturity. The data is not available because the gauge tested to reveal the career maturity of high school students have not been exist. The research purposed to develop measurement tools. This developmental research covers certain procedure: scoring system, validity, reliability, norming and manual drafting. The object named Career Maturity Scale (CMS). The sample is class XI students from public schools and private located in urban areas, transitions, and rustic, with a total 461 students. The result, SKK built in two formats. Format 1 consists of 48 multiple-choice items with high reliability index (0.766) on SEM for 3.109, and four items essay with moderate reliability index (0.684) on SEM for 1.186 , Then the second format consists of 38 items shaped grading scale with five options that have a high reliability index (0.807) on SEM for 7.969. SKK was accompanied by a set of manuals intended for the user.
