PROFIL KECERDASAN SOSIAL SISWA SMA DI KOTA BANDUNG DAN IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP PENYELENGGARAAN LAYANAN BIMBINGAN KONSELING

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan remaja untuk dapat diterima oleh lingkungannya. Remaja yang dapat diterima oleh lingkungan adalah remaja yang memiliki kecerdasan sosial. Kecerdasan sosial menjadi penting karena pada dasarnya remaja tidak dapat hidup sendiri. Banyak kegiatan dalam hidup terkait dengan orang lain. Remaja yang gagal mengembangkan kecerdasan sosialnya akan mengalami banyak hambatan dalam dunia sosial. Akibanya mereka mudah tersisihkan secara sosial. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran keterampilan sosial siswa SMA di kota Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Dengan sampel sebanyak 548 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat ukur Skala Kecerdasan Sosial (SKS) yang dikembangkan peneliti dan terdiri dari 38 butir soal dengan empat jawaban pilihan. Indeks reliabilitas sebesar 0.796 dan SEM (Standar Error Measurement) sebesar 4.302. Secara umum profil kecerdasan sosial pada tiap dimensi yaitu social insight, social sensitivity, dan social communication pada sampel penelitian berada pada kategori sedang.

This research based on the needs of adolescents to be accepted by the environment. Adolescent can be accepted by the environment are who have social intelligence. Social intelligence becomes important because basically adolescent can not live alone. Many activities in life associated with other people. Adolescent who fail to develop social intelligence will face many obstacles in the social world. Akibanya they are easily marginalized socially. The study is to describe the social skills of high school students in the city of Bandung. The method used is descriptive method. With a sample of 548 students. This study uses a measurement tool Social Intelligence Scale developed researcher and consisted of 38 items with four answer choices. Reliability index for 0796 and SEM (Standard Error Measurement) amounted to 4,302. In general, social intelligence profiles on each dimension, namely social insight, social sensitivity, and social communication in the study sample were in the moderate category.
