HUBUNGAN SELF CONTROL DENGAN PERILAKU CYBERLOAFING PADA PEGAWAI NEGERI SIPIL

Terbaginya konsentrasi pegawai negeri sipil bagian administrasi dalam menyelesaikan tugasnya disebabkan oleh fasilitas internet yang tidak terbatas. Perilaku cyberloafing merupakan segala bentuk perilaku pegawai menggunakan internet instansi untuk tujuan pribadi saat jam kerja. Self control adalah salah satu faktor internal individu yang menyebabkan munculnya perilaku cyberloafing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan self control dengan perilaku cyberloafing. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif korelasional dengan alat ukur skala perilaku cyberloafing dan skala self control. Jumlah subjek sebanyak 90 orang pegawai negeri sipil bagian administrasi di Dinas Pertanian, Dinas Pendidikan, Dinas Perhubungan, Dinas Kesehatan dan Dinas Kepemudaan dan Olahraga di Kota Malang yang diperoleh melalui teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif yang terjadi antara self control dengan perilaku cyberloafing (r= -0,206 dan p= 0,049) dibuktikan dari hasil perhitungan product moment pearson. Hal ini berarti semakin rendah self control yang dimiliki pegawai negeri sipil maka semakin tinggi perilaku cyberloafing yang dilakukan.

Devided the concentration administration civil servant completing the job caused by unlimited internet facility Cyberloafing is any behaviors of employees that using their companies internet for personal purpose during office hours. Self control is one of the individual internal factor that causes cyberloafing. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship self control with cyberloafing. Method of the research is quantitative correlation with the instrument about cyberloafing behaviour scale and self control scale. Quantity of subject is about 90 people civil servants of administration from Agricultural department, Education department, Transportation Department, Health department and Youth and sports department in Malang city with purposive sampling technique. The results showed there was a negative correlation between self control with the cyberloafing behavior (r= -0,206 and p= 0,049) from the calculation of product moment pearson. This means the low self control owned civil servant the higher cyberloafing behaviour done.
