SUCCESSFUL AGING PADA LANSIA YANG TINGGAL DI LINGKUNGAN PERUMAHAN DAN PERKAMPUNGAN

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran successful aging pada lansia yang tinggal di lingkungan perumahan dan perkampungan.Variabel penelitian adalah successful aging. Subjek yang digunakan sebanyak 322 orang yang keseluruhan merupakan lanjut usia (lansia) dengan rata-rata usia 60-75 tahun. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling atau sampel bertujuan. Alat pengumpul data berupa skala successful aging. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Successful aging lansia yang tinggal di lingkungan perumahan dan perkampungan menunjukkan adanya perbedaan, artinya lansia yang tinggal di lingkungan perumahan lebih tinggi pada 3 indikator Successful aging yaitu terdiri dari indikator kemandirian, finansial dan status sosial dan kebermaknaan hidup, sedangkan di indikator aktualisasi diri lansia yang tinggal diperumahan lebih rendah dari lansia yang tinggal di lingkungan perkampungan. Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif statistik. Hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai Successful aging lansia, baik di perumahan dan diperkampungan tergolong dalam kategori Tinggi dengan persentase lansia yang tinggal di perumahan 61% dan presentase lansia yang tinggal di perkampungan sebesar 52%.

This study was conducted to describe of successful aging in elderly living in residential and settlement area. Variabel research was successful aging. Subjects used as many as 322 people who overall ware elderly with an average age of 60-75 years. Technique sampling used purposive sampling. Data collect with successful aging scales. The result of this research shows that the successful aging in elderly living at residential and settlement area shows the difference, meaning that the elderly living in the housing is higher on 3 indicators Successful aging is consist of independence, financial and social indicators and meaningfulness of life, while in self-actualization indicator the elderly living in the housing is lower than the elderly living in the neighborhood. Data analysis using statistical descriptive technique. The result of data analysis obtained the value of Successful aging elderly, both in housing and dikampamp pertained in High category with percentage of elderly who live in housing 61% and percentage of elderly living in settlement by 52%.
