Peer Review Process

Manuscripts submitted are first reviewed by the editor to see the completeness of the article, whether it is suitable for the Repositor Journal, and the focus and scope or has major methodological defects and similarity scores using Turnitin. Initial Review. Manuscripts that meet the criteria will then be sent to at least two anonymous reviewers (Double Blind Review). The reviewer's comments are then sent to the associated author for necessary action and feedback. Suggested decisions will be evaluated in an editorial board meeting. After that, the editor will send the final decision to the appropriate author.

Review Results

Utilizing feedback from the peer review process, the Editor will make the final publication decision. The review process will take approximately 1 to 4 weeks. Decision categories include:

Reject - Rejected manuscripts will not be published and authors will not have the opportunity to resubmit a revised version of the manuscript to the Repositor Journal.

Resubmit for Review– Submissions must be reworked, but with significant changes, may be accepted. However, this will require a second round of review.

Accept with Revision - Manuscripts that receive a delayed-accept revision decision will be published in the Repositor's Journal provided minor/major modifications are made. Revisions will be reviewed by the editor to ensure necessary updates are made prior to publication.

Accept - Accepted manuscripts will be published in their current form with no further modification required.



All correspondence regarding manuscripts should be directed to the Repositor's Journal Editor and cc to The editor will direct all correspondence to the primary author; the primary author is responsible for sharing communications with other authors. In addition to communications regarding the review, manuscripts accepted for publication may require additional correspondence to complete copying and editing of the layout.

Publication Frequency

We accept articles all the time with the number of articles published every month as many as 17 articles. The publication schedule is as follows:

Article reception: All the time

Study time: 1-4 weeks

Publishing Time: Every month with 17 articles per number, excess articles will be entered in Article in Press

Number of numbers per volume: 12 numbers

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Ethics Guidelines for Journal

Publication in Repositor Journals applies a peer-reviewed process which is the essence of continuous scientific development and accountable scientific networks. The process is a reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them. The peer-review process supports maintaining the quality and scientific methods in accordance with scientific principles.

The University of Muhammadiyah Malang as the publisher of this Journal takes its duties as a responsible institution very seriously and we are aware of our ethical and other responsibilities. We are committed to ensuring that advertising, reprint, or other commercial revenue has no impact or influence on editorial decisions. In addition, the University of Muhammadiyah Malang and the Editorial Board will assist in communication with other journals and/or publishers where this is useful and necessary.

Publication decisions

The editors of the Repositor Journal are responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted to the journal should be published. The validation of the work in question and its importance to researchers and readers should always drive such decisions. Editors may be guided by the discretion of the journal's editorial board and limited by applicable legal requirements regarding defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism. Editors may consult other editors or reviewers in making this decision.

Fair judgment

An editor evaluates manuscripts at all times for their intellectual content regardless of the race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, nationality, or political philosophy of the authors.


Editors and any editorial staff may not disclose any information about submitted manuscripts to anyone other than the appropriate authors, reviewers, prospective reviewers, other editorial advisors, and publishers, as appropriate.

Disclosure and conflicts of interest

Unpublished material disclosed in submitted manuscripts may not be used in the editor's own research without the written consent of the author.

Statement of Publication Ethics and Malpractice

Part A: Publication and authorship

  • All submitted papers are subject to a rigorous peer-review process by at least two international reviewers who are experts in the paper's particular field.
  • The review process is a blind peer review.
  • The factors considered in the review are relevance, soundness, significance, originality, readability, and language.
  • Possible decisions include acceptance, acceptance with revision, or rejection.
  • If authors are encouraged to revise and resubmit a submission, there is no guarantee that the revised submission will be accepted.
  • Rejected articles will not be reviewed.
  • Acceptance of papers is limited by applicable legal requirements regarding defamation, copyright infringement and plagiarism.
  • No study may be included in more than one publication.

Part B: Responsibilities of authors

  • Authors must certify that their manuscript is their original work.
  • The author must certify that the manuscript has not previously been published elsewhere.
  • Authors must state that the manuscript is not currently being considered for publication elsewhere.
  • Authors must participate in the peer-review process.
  • Authors are required to retract or correct errors.
  • All Authors mentioned in the paper must make a significant contribution to the research.
  • The author must certify that all data in this paper are real and genuine.
  • The author must notify the Editor of any conflict of interest.
  • Authors must identify all sources used in the creation of their manuscripts.
  • Authors must report any errors they find in the published paper to the Editor.

Section C: Responsibilities of reviewers

  • Reviewers must keep all information about the paper confidential and treat it as privileged information.
  • Reviews must be conducted objectively, without personal criticism of the authors.
  • Reviewers must clearly express their views with arguments in favor.
  • Reviewers must identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors.
  • The reviewer should also request that the Chief Editor note any substantial similarities or overlaps between the manuscript under consideration and other published papers of personal knowledge.
  • Reviewers may not review manuscripts that have a conflict of interest as a result of competition, collaboration, or any other relationship or connection with the author, company, or institution to which the paper is linked.

Section D: Editorial responsibilities

  • Editors have full responsibility and authority to reject/accept articles.
  • Editors are responsible for the content and overall quality of the publication.
  • Editors must always consider the needs of authors and readers when seeking to improve publications.
  • Editors must ensure the quality of the paper and the integrity of the academic record.
  • Editors must publish erroneous pages or make corrections when necessary.
  • Editors must have a clear picture of the sources of research funding.
  • Editors should base their decisions only on the importance, authenticity, clarity, and relevance of the paper to the scope of the publication.
  • Editors may not reverse their decision or overturn a previous editor's decision without serious reason.
  • Editors must maintain the confidentiality of reviewers.
  • Editors must ensure that all research material they publish complies with internationally accepted ethical guidelines.
  • Editors should only accept papers if they are reasonably certain.
  • Editors must act if they suspect infringement, whether a paper was published or not, and make all reasonable efforts to keep the matter resolved.
  • Editors must not reject papers based on suspicion, they must have evidence of infringement.
  • Editors must not allow conflicts of interest between staff, authors, reviewers, and board members.
