Author Guidelines

                                                                        INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHOR

  1. SKIE manuscript template can be downloaded here
  2. SKIE accepts manuscripts of scientific articles in the field of community service studies from various fields of science, both social and applied science that have never been published before.
  3. The substance of the article script is in the form of articles from community service.
  4. Manuscripts are typed on A4 paper with margins: top 3 cm, left 3 cm, right 3 cm, and bottom 3 cm (see template) with 1 space.
  5. Articles are written with a minimum of 3,000 words in a one column format.
  6. Manuscripts are submitted directly through this online submission system by registering first as an Author if you do not have an account. click here
  7. The Indonesian title is written specifically and effectively no more than 12 words. The title of the article should be informative, specific, concise, and contain keywords that describe the content of the manuscript as a whole.
  8. The author of the article is written in Times New Roman 10 pt and Bold with an underline without a title and may not be abbreviated. If there is more than one author, a superscript number will be given which will later indicate the author's institution of origin (if the authors are from different agencies).
  9. The name of the agency, address, and postal code are written sequentially starting from the first author with Times New Roman 10 letters and 1 space.
  10. Correspondence email: Fill in the author's active correspondence email address.
  11. Abstract written in Indonesian and English in 1 paragraph with a total of 200-250 words.
  12. The abstract should contain the background (main issues) of the service, objectives, methods/approaches used, research results, and conclusions.
  13. Keywords consist of a maximum of 5 words, separated by commas for both English and Indonesian.
  14. The bibliography contains the sources used as references in the research. Reference sources at least 60% of the literature published in the last 10 years. The references used are primary sources in the form of articles in scientific journals or research reports (thesis, theses, dissertations) and preferably one of them refers to this journal article. The bibliography is written in alphabetical order with the font Times New Roman 12, spaced 1, identation special hanging by 0.25” after 12 pt. The rules for writing a bibliography follow the APA (American Phsycological Association) style.
