Efektivitas Organisasi Kerja Sama Islam (OKI) dalam Menangani Konflik Palestina-Israel Tahun 2020-2023

Konflik Palestina-Israel merupakan konflik berkepanjangan yang banyak menimbulkan korban jiwa, untuk itu diperlukan langkah konkrit dari entitas besar yang dapat memberikan kepastian hukum dan solusi untuk penyelesaian konflik tersebut. OKI merupakan salah satu entitas yang terlibat dalam penyelesaian konflik Palestina-Israel. Mengingat konflik Palestina-Israel memiliki keterkaitan kuat dengan persoalan agama, OKI sebagai entitas utama yang merepresentasikan solidaritas negara Islam dituntut memainkan peran penting. Melalui teori efektivitas organisasi internasional dan metode penelitian deskriptif, penelitian ini berfokus pada upaya OKI dalam menangani konflik Palestina-Israel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan upaya OKI masih belum mampu untuk menyelesaikan ketegangan dan konflik bersenjata antara Palestina dan Israel, hal ini karena kepentingan nasional negara anggota yang lebih kuat dan keterlibatan pihak eksternal yang cenderung mendominasi sehingga menurunkan kekuatan dan kapabilitas OKI sebagai entitas untuk menciptakan rezim perdamaian yang dapat dipatuhi oleh negara anggotanya. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peran OKI dalam menangani konflik Palestina–Israel pada periode tersebut belum efektif, baik dari segi keluaran kebijakan (output), perubahan perilaku anggota, maupun hasil konkret.
