Vol. 11 No. 3 (2025): Special Issue: Power, Justice, Contemporary Social and Political Issues in Indonesia and the Global South

This special issue aims to critically explore the multiple dimensions of power relations, struggles for social justice, and strategies of adaptation employed by societies and states in responding to contemporary global transformations. Amid democratic backsliding, intensifying great power rivalries, and increasing demands for inclusive and sustainable development, countries in the Global South face multifaceted challenges. Indonesia, as a key regional actor, plays a significant role in global issues while simultaneously confronting structural problems at home: marginalization of peripheral regions, social inequalities, gender exclusion, environmental degradation, and crises of political representation.
