Publication Policies

All prospective authors must adhere to some editorial policies, starting from the pre-submission; review process to the final publication. In detail, these points are described as follows:

1. All manuscripts submitted to JIKO must follow Focus and Scope and Author Guidelines. The submitted manuscripts must fulfill novelty or contribution appropriate to the focus and scope.

2. All manuscripts submitted to this journal must be written in proper English. Authors for whom English is not their native language are encouraged to check their papers before submission for grammar and clarity.

3. All submitted manuscripts must be free from plagiarism content. All authors suggest using plagiarism detection software to check similarity (please use Turnitin or iThenticate to check the similarity). Editors will also check the similarity of manuscripts in this journal by using Turnitin software.

4. The submitted manuscripts to this journal will follow the double-blind review process of at least one or more expert reviewers (commonly two) from the Editorial Board and/or Peer-Reviewers Team. The reviewers give valuable scientific comments improving the contents of the manuscript. Sometimes (if required), a third peer-reviewer is needed to provide critical feedback to the submitted manuscript. (More Detail of Peer Review Process)

5. The final decision of manuscript acceptance is solely made by the Editor in Chief/Associate Editor (together with Editorial Board if required) according to reviewers' comments (but not exclusively).

6. The Editor in Chief will publish accepted articles, including assigning the article to the published issues by considering the sequence of accepted dates and geographical distribution of authors and a thematic issue.
