Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format not PDF.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is 1.5 spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

Thank you for choosing to forward us your paper. These instructions will ensure that we have everything necessary so that your paper can move smoothly through peer review and publication. Please take the time to read and follow them as closely as possible, as this will ensure that your paper meets the criteria of our journal.

English Learning Innovation (englie) is committed to the integrity of peer review and maintains the highest levels of review. When the editor has evaluated your paper for suitability, unbiased, confidential expert referees will then review it as a double-blind judge. Preparing Your Paper

English Learning Innovation (englie) receives two types of papers, research-based articles and review of literature articles. The research-based article should be written with the following elements in the following order: title page; abstract; keywords; main text introduction, methods, results, discussion; conclusion acknowledgements; references; appendices (as appropriate).

The article should be no more than 7000 words, tables, figure captions, and references. It should contain an unstructured, 200-word abstract. It will have 3 to 5 keywords in it. Formatting and Template

Papers must be submitted in Word format. To help you prepare your paper, we provide a template for the formatting. The link for the template is here.

Word templates for that journal are available. Save the template, ready to use, to your hard drive.
