MOTIVASI BERPRESTASI DENGAN KINERJA GURU YANG SUDAH DISERTIFIKASI

Guru dituntut memiliki kinerja yang mampu memberikan dan merealisasikan keinginan semua pihak terutama masyarakat untuk membina anak didik. Untuk meningkatkan kinerja dan kualitas guru, pemerintah memberlakukan UU No. 14 Tahun 2005 tentang sertifikasi Guru dan Dosen, namun kinerja guru yang sudah sertifikasi masih belum memuaskan. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja adalah motivasi berprestasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi berprestasi dengan kinerja guru yang sudah disertifikasi. Subjek penelitian 110 guru yang sudah disertifikasi di kecamatan Sumberbaru Jember. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu skala motivasi berprestasi dan skala kinerja. Teknik analisa data menggunakan korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan positif dan sangat signifikan antara motivasi berprestasi dengan kinerja dengan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) = 0,636. Koefisien determinasi (R2) = 0,877 dan probabilitas kesalahan (p) = 0,000. Adapun sumbangan efektif motivasi berprestasi terhadap kinerja sebesar 87,7% sisanya sebesar 12,3% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Teacher is demanded has performance that can give and realize hope of all party especially society to guide pupil. To increase performance and teacher quality, government apply law 14 in 2005 about teacher and lecturer certification, but teacher performance that pass certification has not satisfy yet. One factor that influence performance is achievement motivation. This research used quantitative research type to know correlation between achievement motivations and performance of the certified teacher. The sample is 110 certified teachers at district Sumberbaru-Jember. Techniques sampling used purposive sampling. Instrument for collecting the data used achievement motivation scale and performance scale. Techniques of data analysis used correlation of product moment. The result revealed positive correlation and very significant between achievement motivation and performance, with correlation coefficient value (r)=0,636. Determination coefficient (R2)=0,877 and level of significance (p)=0,000. This result showed achievement motivation effective contribution towards performance is 87,7%, and the( 12,3%) is influenced by other variable doesn't examine in this research.
