Jurnal Ilmiah Psikologi Terapan or Scientific Journal of Applied Psychology is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Faculty of Psychology, University of Muhammadiyah Malang, in collaboration with Ikatan Psikologi Perkembangan Indonesia (IPPI) and Ikatan Psikologi Klinis (IPK). This journal publishes research reports on the development of psychology as a science in various contexts, especially issues about applied psychology worldwide. Jurnal Ilmiah Psikologi Terapan is published twice annually (January and August), and the submitted articles can be in Bahasa Indonesia or English. Manuscripts must be original and have never been published elsewhere.

Jurnal Ilmiah Psikologi Terapan has been accredited by the National Journal Accreditation (ARJUNA), managed by the Ministry of Research and Technology / National Research and Innovation Agency of Republic Indonesia with Third Grade (Sinta 3) for the year 2022 to 2026 according to the decree No. 204/E/KPT/2022, and has recently been successfully indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and EBSCO.
